Creating assignments
Assignments (also known as submission points or assignment folders) can be created via the manual method – generally used for formative assessments – or the Assignment Setup Wizard, which automates part of the process and facilitates moving the marks directly into ASIS later.
The wizard has been updated and now creates separate assignments for Resubmissions (eg for students with referrals). These are created as hidden and can be made available as required.
Delays in making the Wizard Available
Due to delays in compiling the data in ASIS, it is not yet possible to run the assignment wizard. We hope to have this in place by early November 2025
For any assignments happening in the immediate future, please set them up manually without linking to a grade item, as described in this guide to Creating Assignments without the wizard and the accompanying video guide.
