6. Introduction to UniConnect (2 part course):

Aim: 
To familiarise staff with UniConnect, the University's webinar and virtual classroom tool and to explore good practice in the design and delivery of synchronous teaching and learning sessions.

Objectives:

Following the session the participants will be able to:

  • Create webinar sessions and link to Unilearn (if required)
  • Be familiar with the various components of the webinar software and what the software has to offer.
  • Identify features of good practice in designing and delivering synchronous teaching and learning sessions.
  • Appreciate the students' perspective by having taken part in a synchronous webinar session.
