There are a whole host of collaborative Web 2.0 tools that you can use in your teaching; these are some of the better known ones that educators use:

  • For storing and sharing web resources - Social Bookmarking try Delicious

  • For collaborative writing -  Etherpad - there are a number of similar looking ones

  • Collection of ideas on a topic - Padlet

  • For collaborative mind-mapping -

  • For adding audio to still or moving images and sharing try Voicethread

  • For creating your own screencasts use Screencast-o-matic or Jing
