2. Communication Tools and User Management in Unilearn:

Aim: 
To familiarise participants with UniLearn and the benefits it can afford staff and students. To supply learners with the hands-on skills needed to effectively use the communication tools embedded in UniLearn and enrol
other staff members as instructors or teaching assistants.

Objectives:
Following the session the participants will be able to:

  • State the benefits of UniLearn to Staff and Students
  • Navigate to, and understand the basic structure of UniLearn
  • Use the email, Announcements and Staff information tools in UniLearn effectively
  • Appreciate how the communications tools may reduce administrative overhead.
  • Enrol and remove staff and students on a module and appreciate how students are automatically enrolled and removed from modules
